Cartridge Height Measurement and Finding VTA Reference Point.

Picture 3.1: Special milimeter gauge is used to measure the height of the cartridge. It shows 20.5 mm cartridge height.

Picture 3.2: Use Wally VTA Gauge with the right amount of spacers to match the cartridge height : 16 + 3 + 1.0 + 0.5 mm = 20.5 mm

Picture 3.3: Install Wally VTA Gauge with required spacers and locate it on the record. Picture shows that Arm Bearing is located too high.
